Renewed Strength

I have been thinking about and experiencing how the cares of life can cause us all to get tired and weary. Jobs, finances, loss of loved ones, the effects of dealing with Covid, family situations and more. Sometimes we are perplexed on every side. We tend to worry, stress, and walk in constant anxiety. We try to handle and fix problems and situations that we are not capable of fixing. Along with things that arise in our life that we just have to handle and work through with the help of God. We are just worn out.

God told us to not carry our cares but cast them!! We begin to get weary and weak. A lot of times we are at the point of just pure exhaustion. Have you ever been there? We become very tired in our body, mind and spirit. It feels like we just can’t take on another thing. I cried out to God asking Him to renew our strength!!!

Isaiah 40:29:31 He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even youth shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall. But those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

God promised us that He would renew and increase our strength if we waited on Him!!!! While we are waiting we are praying, praising, seeking, and continuing to rely on Him. He will then restore, refresh, revive and give us vigor again.

We are compared to an eagle's wings. I thank God because He said He will give us the strength and power to soar and rise above every situation and circumstance. Having the wings of an eagle helps us to glide with little effort and fly through the hurricanes, the storms of life. This should get you excited!!!!!

So, God I thank you for your great and precious promises. I thank you for your renewed strength today. I thank you for your grace that empowers us not to stay low but rise up high above all things. As we continue to abide in you, and keep our focus on you, you promised to give us perfect peace. Let your presence continue to be upon us. Come in and refresh, rejuvenate, revive, and restore us. We are in desperate need of your increased and renewed strength. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
