God's Word is Final
When I think about all of the things that we can lean and depend on I only get one solid answer. It is God’s word. He is faithful to His word. We can trust in His word. Heaven and earth will pass away but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35 The word of God is our life compass. It is our final authority. All that we need that pertains to life and godliness's is in the word of God.
The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth purified seven times. Psalms 12:6. Wow!! This is in its purest form!!! This is why the promises of God may be relied on. His words are not like the words of man, but are pure as silver seven times smelted. Here are some of the benefits of believing and receiving the word of God.
The law of the Lord is PERFECT- Converts the soul (revive and restore)
The testimony of the Lord is SURE- Making the wise simple ( our source of wisdom)
The statures of the Lord are RIGHT- rejoicing the heart (brings peace and joy)
The judgments of the Lord are TRUE and righteous all together
The commandments of the Lord is PURE- enlightening the eyes
The word of the Lord is to be DESIRED more than gold, even fine gold
They should be sweeter than honey and the honeycomb
Moreover they will WARN us, and in keeping them there is great REWARD
I am thankful for the infallible word of God on today. I will continue to strive to let it be the final authority in my life.
