Don’t Stop, Realign and Keep Moving Forward
Sitting here thinking about this new year that’s actually upon us is crazy. Lots has happened in the lives of many of us. A lot of things have changed, even our mindsets. Some of the things was good, some were not good at all. Nevertheless we know that God is still in control!!!
It’s always good to take time to reevaluate different areas of our lives to see where we stand. It may have been some goals you did not quite reach, or some things that just did not happen at all. Maybe some areas you are still challenged by. But quickly remember that we cannot go back but we can move forward with the grace of God. We are being blessed with another day, year, and another opportunity.
I believe that there is so much greatness that's jammed packed on the inside of each of us!!!! God is just waiting for us to step into it. We must continue to walk by faith, trust Him, and keep working towards our personal goals and God given assignments. We don't have to try to achieve in our own strength. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Philippians 4:13
That greatness comes out when we flow and operate in being ourselves in whatever we are striving to accomplish!! No need to compare and no need to compete. Your influence will come from being authentically you!!! You may just need to refocus and realign some things. Here are just a few things to think about as we enter the new year.
- Re-access what your CORE values are this year ( what matters most)
- What season are you in right now in your life
- Ask yourself how you can be better, do better in certain areas
- What do I need to change or do differently to reach certain goals
- Remember we must incorporate Faith plus Works
- Be confident in who and whose you are. Your uniqueness and gifts you have to offer is needed.
- Stay away from negative company. Surround yourself with visionaries, faith walkers, goal setters, hard workers.
- Pray, Pray, Pray. We need to seek God for guidance concerning every area of our life. We need clarity, direction, wisdom and knowledge. Proverbs 3:5-6
Remember it’s not where we start but where we finish. Keep your eyes on God and keep moving forward.
