God’s Roadmap To Success

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night that thou mayest observe to do accordingly to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 

– Joshua 1:8 KJV

 

This Verse Calls Us to Meditate on God’s Word

Meditation is turning the word over and over in our hearts and minds. It’s pondering on it. It becomes alive in your soul even the more. It keeps you in a position to always be open to receive more and more for God!!!!  It also invites the Holy Spirit to download truth and revelation knowledge. Have you ever experienced that? 

I know we all desire to do well in life. In our jobs, careers, homes, businesses and more. We want things to go well for us. God is giving us the success remedy.

So then, what's the key? In verse 8, it says that you must not let this book of the law leave your mouth and that you must think about it day and night so that you will be sure to do everything that is written in it. Then you will do well on your way. Then things will go well for you. This is a clear path.

Joshua 1:8 Encourages Us to Soak in the Bible

The key to a good life, the key to success, is to think about the book of the law, to think about what God says, and to be careful to do what you read. How does meditating work? It means that we don't just read the Bible, but really take it all in. As we meditate on the word the Holy Spirit teaches us, and He gives us revelation. As we meditate, we are enlightened. As we meditate on the word we get strengthened and empowered. As we meditate on the infallible word of God, we build more trust and faith. We are drawn closer and become more intimate with the father. We must feed ourselves the word daily. 

 Mediating day and night keeps our mind on the word and our soul's feed!!!!!  When we continually eat the word of God, we will automatically speak it and observe to do it. 

Joshua 1:8 Helps Us See Success God’s Way

So, God, please help us. Help us pay close attention to what you told Joshua.  Don’t let it depart from our mouth, but observe to do accordingly all that’s written there in.  To understand it and apply it to our lives in every way to have good success!!!!!

Joshua 1:8 God’s Word Will Lead Us Into Truth

Because we live very busy lives, we must be intentional about taking the time to develop our spiritual muscles in the word of God.  Having this intimate time is where the nourishment, wisdom, insight, knowledge, strength, revelations, truth, understanding, guidance, trust and faith comes from.

 Walking in the truth of the word will lead to so many victories, enlightenment, and empowerment. This is our road map to living a successful life!! Let’s do it God’s way!!!!!

  3. Has meditation drawn you into a more intimate relationship with God?
