Optimize Your Health for Productivity

Have there ever been times in your life that you have trouble focusing and concentrating? Also maybe just not having the energy you need to get things done for the day. Is it a possibility that it is because you’re not taking care of your health the way you desire to?

To care for your health, properly, you need to consider all aspects including your mind, your body, and your spirit . All of these areas need to be cared for to keep things running in good order.

Take Care of Your Body
However, when it comes to this topic, you can do so much better than maintain, you can optimize your health for productivity. First things first taking of your health/body must become a priority. As they say, every body is different. So along with consulting with your doctor if needed can help you determine the best way to take care of your body to maximize your health.

For most people eating right and exercising are key to good health. For some, that might mean eating a low-carb, keto style diet. For someone else, that might mean becoming a low-fat plant-based vegan. For exercise, you may prefer to walk, lift weights, run, swim, dance, and someone else might love Zumba. But whatever you do to ensure that your health is as good as you can make it is a goal to intentionally work toward.

Take Care of Your Mind
Your mind can also be cared for by eating well and moving. Another factor involved with good mental health is to get enough sleep. Most people need a lot more rest than they think. In fact, most people need between 7 and 9 hours of sleep every single night. The other thing you need to be well mentally is to spend time with people who are positive, encouraging and empowering that can sharpen you.

Building strong relationships is essential to good mental health as well. Having good spiritual counselors and mentors are great add on as well. Guard your mind.

Ephesians 6:17 - "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Philippians 4:8 - "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Take Care of Your Spirit
Take care of your spirit by building a consistent prayer life and feeding yourself the Word of God daily. Taking 15 minutes out of your busy hectic schedule to sit, relax and to meditate will calm your spirit, and keep you in tune with your needs.

Knowing and walking in your core values will help you to maximize your health and become more productive and cause you to become the best version of you!!!

If you ensure that you are taking care of yourself in all the ways that need to be done, you can also be assured that you’ll be able to move forward each day at maximum capacity instead of feeling overwhelmed, tired, and unwell.

This is what God desires!!

3 John 1:2 - "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

Maximize your health, and you will maximize your productivity.
